Wow! An awesome Rumford fireplace for the ISBA student lounge!! Very majestic.
The students really came together on this project. It's amazing how fast 6 people can create a masterpiece! Chisels swingin' & mud mixin'.
The spring '06 class learned a lot from tool maintenance both electrical and manual, stone shaping and fitting, planning, research. These fellas will be able to build their own fireplaces! Breakin' rocks in the hot sun......
